Close alongside any dirt road in Vermont you can find modest white houses from an earlier era when farms were small, diversified and run by families.
To beautify her dooryard, Miss Jewett planted hollyhocks and they thrived!
I used to walk down this read early in the morning with my paintbox and tried to catch the morning light shining through their tall stalks.
I print it on 100% cotton rag, ph neutral. archival watercolor paper in an easily framable format ( fits a 10.5" x 13.5" mat opening in a 16" x 20" frame) and add the number of the print, the title: Miss Jewett's Hollyhocks, and my signature in pencil.
Your print can also be personalized to someone special-just request in the comments box.
